About

I have been interested in photography for many years and became involved in developing and printing black and white photographs from 35mm film during my training as an architect.

I was a volunteer photographer for the English Heritage 'Images of England' millennium project, the aim of which was to set up a website with a single photograph of every listed building in England, as an on-line record at the beginning of the twenty first century. I contributed several images of listed buildings in Norfolk to the website.

Over recent years, I have concentrated on architectural and landscape photography in digital format. I particularly enjoy photographing landscapes of the Norfolk Broads and try to capture the atmosphere of this unique place, especially at the beginning and end of the day when the light is more subtle. I also enjoy travel photography with my favourite places being Venice, Barcelona and Cyprus.
